FAQ

Questions before booking

Is every small space a confined space?

No. Size alone does not define it. The key issue is whether the space is enclosed or largely enclosed and presents foreseeable serious risks such as fire, explosion, loss of consciousness, asphyxiation, drowning or other serious hazards.

Does this course qualify someone as a rescue team member?

Not by itself. Rescue competence requires role-specific practical training, suitable equipment, first-aid arrangements, realistic plans and practice for the actual spaces and hazards involved.

Do participants use gas detectors?

The course covers atmospheric testing principles and practical instrument use where included in the agreed training scope.

Can the training be adapted for a company site?

Yes. Company training can be tailored to the specific spaces, entry procedures, equipment, permits and emergency arrangements used at the workplace.
