Is Level 1 right for you?
Za osobe koje prvi put ulaze u industrijski pristup užetom i kandidate kojima je potrebna osnovna IRATA tehnička kvalifikacija.
What this level means
Level 1 develops the basic rope-access manoeuvres, equipment knowledge and safety attitude required to work under the supervision of a Level 3 rope access safety supervisor.
Level 1 is the entry route.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the start of the course.
Profixt standard: 6 training days + 1 independent assessment day. IRATA minimum: 4 training days.
Successful candidates receive an IRATA certificate, ID card and logbook; the certificate is valid for three years.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
What you need before the course
- No previous rope-access experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the start of the course.
- Candidates should be physically fit and unaffected by a disability or medical condition that could prevent safe work at height.
- An adequate level of strength, agility and coordination is required, together with the ability to cope with working-environment stresses such as heat, cold and inclement weather.
- Candidates need an appropriate attitude to work at height: responsibility, self-reliance and respect for height.
- Identification card or passport.

AFTER SUCCESSFUL ASSESSMENT
What a Level 1 technician can do
- Understand and follow rope-access procedures, method statements and associated risk assessments.
- Carry out pre-use checks of personal rope-access equipment.
- Assist with rigging and other operations under the guidance of a higher-level technician.
- Undertake a simple rescue in descent and assist with rescue operations.
Content aligned with IRATA TACS [TC-101], Issue 006, and the IRATA International Code of Practice [TC-102].
